With the rapid advancement of medical technology and the widespread adoption of intelligent healthcare, high-definition and highly stable image acquisition devices are playing an increasingly important role in medical diagnosis, surgical navigation, and endoscopic examinations. As the "visual core" of medical equipment, high-performance camera modules can assist doctors in obtaining clearer and more accurate real-time images, thereby enhancing the efficiency of diagnosis and the safety of surgeries.
The Sony FCB-EV7520 integrated high-definition camera module has been widely used in various medical vision systems, providing reliable video acquisition and transmission solutions for numerous medical device manufacturers, helping their products maintain competitiveness in the market.

With the advancement of technology and the development of market demands, Sony has officially discontinued the FCB-EV7520 series, and has launched a new generation product - FCB-EV9520L, which boasts superior performance and more comprehensive functions.
For medical institutions and equipment manufacturers, the upgrade cost and compatibility are crucial considerations. The FCB-EV9520L maintains a high degree of consistency in appearance size, weight, and output interfaces with the FCB-EV7520. It supports plug-and-play functionality and is compatible with the mechanical structure and circuit design of the existing system. This means that most users do not need to re-mold or adjust the equipment architecture, and can directly replace it, significantly reducing the upgrade cost and debugging time.

To better meet the lightweight requirements of medical equipment, we have specially launched the FCB-EV9520L lightweight version. Through structural optimization, the weight has been reduced from 239g to approximately 165g, which is beneficial for applications such as handheld devices and mobile medical robots, enhancing their operational flexibility and endurance performance.
The FCB-EV9520L is equipped with a new-generation 1/2.8-inch STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor, which performs exceptionally well in low-light conditions. In the color mode, the minimum illumination is as low as 0.009Lx, and in the infrared mode, it outperforms the previous generation products even more. Its newly added "Super Image Stabilization" function supports two levels of enhanced modes, S and S+, and can still output stable and smooth images even during surgical movement or equipment vibration.
In addition, the FCB-EV9520L also features a wide dynamic range, high sensitivity, and three-zone intelligent exposure/focusing/balance functions. It can still maintain rich image details and true colors even in complex lighting conditions, meeting the strict requirements for image quality in scenarios such as endoscopic surgery, microscopic imaging, remote diagnosis, and medical robot navigation.
