Experience 30x enhanced optical zoom in a compact form factor - even with the larger 1/1.8-inch sensor. This camera is suitable for a wide range of scenarios, including harsh environments. In particular, its new super image stabilizer provides significantly improved blur suppression compared to conventional models.

A1: The discrepancy between the FCB-EV9500M’s effective pixels (≈4.17 mega) and output pixels (≈2.07 mega, corresponding to 1080P resolution) stems from pixel binning and cropping processes tailored to match the output specifications. Equipped with a 1/1.8-inch STARVIS™ CMOS sensor boasting 4.17 mega native effective pixels, the module captures light across a broader photosensitive area. However, as the FCB-EV9500M natively outputs 1080P (1920×1080) high-definition signals, it leverages pixel binning technology to integrate signals from adjacent pixels. This not only enhances signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and image quality in low-light conditions but also involves moderate cropping of the native photosensitive area to fit the 16:9 output aspect ratio. Additionally, this design reduces transmission bandwidth load on the MIPI interface, meets the data processing efficiency requirements of embedded systems, and achieves an optimal balance between imaging performance and operational stability for professional industrial scenarios.
Q2: Can the SONY FCB-EV9500M output network or SDI signals?
A2:The SONY FCB-EV9500M is originally designed with a MIPI interface that outputs MIPI video signals. To achieve network video signal output, you can pair it with our MIPI to IP Camera Interface Board: VRS-UD350.
As a module camera featuring MIPI interface for video signal output, the SONY FCB-EV9500M can be integrated with our self-developed MIPI/LVDS to IP Camera Interface Board to convert signals to network video streams. This board enables efficient video encoding and network transmission, facilitating seamless integration into IP surveillance, video conferencing, or streaming media systems.
If your project requires SDI or HDMI video signal output, FCB-EV9500L or FCB-EW9500H would be ideal alternatives, as their interface designs are better optimized to meet such output requirements.
